A platinum distinction for the performance of OTE and COSMOTE in society, the economy and the environment was the result of the joint participation of OTE and COSMOTE in the National Corporate Responsibility Index (CR Index), for 2013.
OTE and COSMOTE were distinguished in the “Platinum” category for their performance in implementing responsible corporate practices, while they also received special praise for their best performance in the Market sector.

OTE and COSMOTE, through their Corporate Responsibility program, focus on important issues concerning the Market, Employees, the Environment and Society. At the same time, a key part of the corporate culture of the two companies is corporate volunteerism, within the framework of which, the participation of OTE-COSMOTE employees in voluntary actions of the companies (voluntary blood donation, collection of medicines and food, etc.) is constantly increasing. In the last 4 years, the participation of employees in voluntary initiatives has exceeded 14,000.
The assessment of companies according to the CR Index, which is an internationally recognized tool for assessing companies in the field of Corporate Responsibility of the British Non-Profit Organization Business in the Community, was carried out this year, for the sixth consecutive year, by the Corporate Responsibility Institute. It was the first time that OTE and COSMOTE participated jointly, while since the inception of the institution, OTE had received a series of important distinctions.
