At the beginning of the year, a smart app was announced that was intended for animal lovers and allowed them to find restaurants that were animal-friendly and therefore vegetarian-friendly.
At the time, the app was still in development and the folks at America for Animals were busy trying to raise the funds they needed to move forward with this plan and make the app available to animal rights advocates.
As it turns out, the fundraising campaign went off without a hitch, and the team is pleased to announce that their app, which was released as part of the Humane Eating Project, is now officially available for download.
The app is free and allows people to locate and bookmark nearby restaurants whose menu includes dishes that are vegetarian or at least not associated with animal cruelty.
