In the 100 seconds we watched “The Internet in Real-Time,” the statistics generated were truly impressive. 460,800 searches on Google, 570,000 tweets on Twitter, 231,400 total hours of watching videos on Youtube, 3,500 check-ins on Foursquare, 5,219,600 likes on Facebook – and more. The numbers are also numerous from various social media sites, messaging services, and other applications that we use online daily, as you can see in the following screenshot.
And the numbers keep going up, in a highly impressive live infographic that provides us, in real time, with data from life on the… Internet that you can stare at for quite some time. At some point, however, we reached the limits of “vertigo”, so we closed the page and continued surfing elsewhere.
