The new Traffic Measurement on the Greek Internet, which includes all the sites of the twenty publishing organizations that are members of the Internet Publishers Association (ENED), has been in full operation for a few days.
"Market Insights" is the tool for displaying and managing measurement data and was presented a few days ago to the ten largest media agencies as well as to representatives of SDE, EDEE and IAB, who participated as observers in the award competition held by ENED in 2013, with the winner being the AT Internet / Nugg.ad consortium.
The new Measurement significantly upgrades the Greek digital ecosystem as, in addition to the classic data for unique users/browsers, page impressions and visits, for the first time critical traffic sizes such as web, mobile (and apps) and video are separated, while the demographic data provided is through the predictive audience profiling method, particularly widespread in advanced markets. At the same time, the Measurement & Certification Code, prepared by a relevant Committee of Members of ENED, was delivered to media agencies and institutional representatives and includes the rules of valid traffic and best ethical practices. Finally, a key point is the particularly high reliability of the new Measurement, as all data is certified on a monthly basis by the international auditing organization OJD.
"The new measurement constitutes a qualitative leap that, combined with the certification, truly creates new data of transparency and reliability on the Greek Internet while providing a strong basis for the further qualitative and quantitative development of the advertising market," stated ENED President Thomas Siozopoulos.
The founding members of ENED are 24 MEDIA, DOL, PEGASOS, NAFTEMPORIKI, ATHINORAMA, MEGA, ANTENNA, STAR, PRIME MEDIA, CAPITAL.GR, while in 2013 PHAISTOS, JIP (Newsit/TLife), ATTICA PUBLICATIONS, GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY, DAPHNE COMMUNICATIONS, MOTOR PRESS, NEWSPHONE HELLAS, NOA (meteo.gr), GLOMAN, SKRΟUTZ AND PRESSBOX also became members.
