A new feature of mobile networks will prohibit the operation of stolen mobile phones.
As everything indicates, the National Telecommunications and Postal Commission (EETT) is preparing to implement a new operating regulation for mobile phone companies, which will allow them to block mobile phones that have been declared stolen from their network.
All users have to do is notify the company they subscribe to of the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number of their device, so that if it is stolen, its operation on all Greek networks is immediately prohibited.
This function is expected to be activated within the next few weeks once the installation of the special software required by each mobile phone company is complete.
