And Panda Security will continue to support Windows XP

One-More-Anti-Virus-Vendor-Announces-Windows-XP-Support-After-Retirement

As is known, Windows XP will be officially retired on April 8, 2014, but the majority of anti-virus companies will continue to support the operating system, providing effective protection against threats.

One of these companies is Panda Security, which announced that Panda Cloud Office Protection will continue to be offered to Windows XP, despite Microsoft's plans to discontinue support for this particular version of the operating system.

“It is very important for us to keep our commitments to our customers,” explains Panda Security’s product manager.

“Approximately 50% of the two million computers currently protected with Panda Cloud Office Protection have Windows XP installed, so it is very important for our customers to continue supporting this operating system, especially after their systems lose product support on April 8th and remain vulnerable to threats.”
