They can't stand being without their "smart" device
48% of respondents said that their "smart" mobile device was more important than... "close" relationships with another person.
The same survey reveals that one in 20 women does not part with her cell phone even when she sleeps... "lying" close to her body.
In fact, some (39%) even reported that they have purchased special, waterproof cases so that they can use them even when they are in the bathroom!
According to research conducted by the online magazine Real Simple on behalf of the Huffington Post, our lives are now completely dependent on mobile phones, to the point where we can't imagine a day without them.
76% of women look at their mobile phone every hour, while half of them can't bear not to glance at it every 15 minutes.
Yet only 27% of women admit to having developed an addiction to it, while 71% would not want to go back to the era when the internet did not yet exist.
