The developers of Wickr, the mobile messaging app, have launched a bug bounty program in which they are willing to give money to anyone who identifies critical security issues.
For example, experts who find a vulnerability that affects the integrity or confidentiality of user data should be rewarded with the sum of $100,000 dollars (or 73,000 euros).
Rewards will range between $10,000 (€7,300) and $100,000 (€73,000). Submissions from anonymous users will not be accepted, and there is no age limit.
In fact, the company highlights the fact that the beta version of its Android app was tested by the r00tz kids at the DEF CON hacking conference.
However, security researchers can submit their findings to bugbounty@mywickr.com .
Additional information about Wickr's bug bounty program is available on the company's website.
