After many months of waiting, we are pleased to inform you that the SecTEAM is now active and registrations have already begun.
What is the SecTEAM platform?
The electronic participatory posting platform of SecNews (SecTEAM) allows registered / accredited users to post, via an easy-to-use web interface, the articles they wish to share in a very simple way. The articles can be anything related to the topic of the website (see the relevant categories on the right). After being checked by members of the editorial team, according to the predefined workflow, the articles are published on the website. For each article published by an accredited SecTEAM author, a monetary fee (budget) is determined, which you pay IMMEDIATELY to the author of the article, after publication.
How do I become a member of SecTEAM?
Step 1: First of all, you must register on the platform via the link https://www.secnews.gr/register
Step 2: By following the relevant instructions you will receive via an identification email, you will gain access to the posting platform (ed. please also check the SPAM category in case the identification email is received there)
Step 3: Use the codes you received to enter the posting platform via the link that will be provided to you.
Step 4: Post a test article so that the editorial team can get a feel for your writing/journalistic skills regarding our topic.
Step 5: You receive your fees for each article approved by the editorial team and published on SecNews. The budget set for each article varies depending on the category of the article, its exclusivity and the subject matter discussed. There is no limit to the number of articles submitted/posted, while there is a particularly reduced budget for articles that are retransmissions from other websites. In addition, there is a particularly increased budget for articles that will be a “topic of the day” and will be placed in the central “window” of the website.
The membership selection policy
The SecNews management team selects SecTEAM members based on a variety of qualitatively distinct criteria. The selection of SecTEAM members, as well as the expulsion of any member deemed to be abusing the service, is at the sole discretion of the management team. The management team is NOT obligated to inform regarding the approval or expulsion of any user deemed to be harming the service, for any reason.
