The Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum houses the first bionic man, who wears prosthetic limbs and artificial organs and goes by the name Frank.
Frank is 1.83 m tall and weighs 77 kg and is the protagonist of the documentary made by the Smithsonian about prosthetic limbs and artificial organs.
Frank's construction cost a million dollars and consists of 28 artificial limbs – donated by a biomedical company.
British Robert Warburton, designer for the company that built Frank, jokingly stated: "Don't expect him to have the best behavior, since he was designed to have the character of a 13-year-old Ukrainian.".
