Apple has, over the years, enriched the iPhone with a multitude of features, many of which you may not have discovered yet. Among them are the Markup Tools.
Markup Tools allow you to add notes and drawings to photos and documents. These tools are available in many iOS and are very easy to use.

For example, you can use Markup Tools to mark up something in a screenshot before sharing it or add notes to a document. In the Photos app, you find them by tapping the Edit button (three-line icon) and then the markup button (pen icon).
After taking a screenshot, you can directly tap on its thumbnail and select the markup button. Similarly, if you open a PDF in the Files app, you'll see the Markup button at the bottom, allowing you to add your signature, for example.

Markup Tools include a pen, eraser, ruler , and selection tool, and you can change colors, add stickers, text, or shapes via the “+” button. All changes are interactive, allowing you to adjust the position, size, or colors of the elements you add. And if you make a mistake, there’s always the “Undo” option to fix it.
Plus, there are smart features like turning handwritten shapes into perfect geometric designs. When you're done editing, tap Done to save or Cancel to discard all changes.

Markup Tools offer great flexibility, whether you want to edit images or annotate documents, making iPhone even more functional and practical for your everyday life.
