At the Rochester Institute of Technology, the 8th annual ROC Game Fest took place, an event that brought together game developers to celebrate their creations.

The festival featured 45 games developed by students and independent developers, according to game industry relations director Jennifer Hinton.

The event also offered opportunities to try out games, give talks, and participate in children's cosplay competitions.
Students like John Wager spoke of their passion for game design, citing the development process and the joy it brings to players. Professor Jesse O'Brien expressed his excitement for involving young people in game development and the evolution of the industry.
