The Hyundai INSTER EV is an evolution of the CASPER , sold in Korea. Hyundai claims the new electric car will “set new standards” in range, technology and safety. With Hyundai’s signature daytime running lights, as well as additional pixel-graphic turn signals and taillights, the INSTER is unmistakably a Hyundai EV.

Hyundai expects the new electric city car to have a range of up to 355 km WLTP. While pricing has yet to be confirmed, with the natural gas- selling for under $15,000 in Korea, the new EV is expected to hit the market at an affordable price.

Although demand for affordable electric vehicles is increasing in the US, it is still unclear whether Hyundai will bring the INSTER to the United States.
