The LockBit ransomware has reportedly claimed responsibility for a previous cyberattack on Cannes Hospital, which hit the Cannes Simone Veil Hospital.

Cannes Simone Veil Hospital, also known as Broussailles Hospital, is named after former French Minister of Health Simone Veil. The hospital offers services such as surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, dentistry, mental health and elderly care.
Cannes Hospital was prompt in implementing strict containment measures following the LockBit Ransomware attack, and ongoing investigations have found no evidence of data theft.
Following the cyberattack, healthcare professionals were forced to turn to pen, paper and manual processes to continue providing essential healthcare services, such as emergency care, surgical procedures, obstetrics and paediatric care to patients. Telephone services continue to operate as normal.

Even weeks after the attack, the website still maintains a cyberattack alert .The Cannes Hospital statement states that the hospital staff is investigating the LockBit Ransomware cyberattack, in collaboration with experts (ANSSI, Cert Santé, Orange CyberDéfense, GHT06).

Further, the notice stated that while the investigation is still ongoing, there have been no ransom demands or identification of data theft yet.
Cybersecurity analyst Dominic Alvierishared on X(Twitter) a purported claim of responsibility by LockBit for the incident in question at Cannes Hospital.
If the allegations are true, Cannes Simone Veil Hospital Center would be one of the latest victims of a series of recent cyberattacks carried out by LockBit after the ransomware group was shut down following a joint effort by the FBI, the UK's NCA and Europol.
