Despite concerns about the developer being more involved with remasters, Naughty Dog reveals that it is working on "Brand-New" single-player games.
While this news disappointed many fans who were looking forward to experiencing the unique post-apocalyptic world of The Last of Us with friends, others reacted with excitement.
In recent years, Naughty Dog seemed intent on remastering and re-releasing the two games over and over again.

The Last of Us was originally released for PS3 in 2014, and after almost a year, an enhanced version for PS4. Then, in 2022, a full remake of The Last of Us was released. The Last of Us Part 2 will undergo a similar treatment, with a remaster for PS5 scheduled for release in 2024, just four years after the game's original release .
Of course, one of the “brand new” games that is generating a lot of interest is probably the long-awaited third installment of The Last of Us, which has been rumored to be in development. However, fans have also expressed their desire for another Uncharted game, despite Naughty Dog co-president Neil Druckmann’s statement that the studio is focused on other projects.
The developer has created two other hugely successful game series: Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter. It must be acknowledged that Naughty Dog hasn't only been working on Crash Bandicoot since 1999, but a fourth sequel to the Jak and Daxter series would be well-received .Furthermore, the announcement of a brand new IP, perhaps the rumored sci-fi game from Naughty Dog, would undoubtedly generate excitement.
