Apple has released iOS 17.1 , a new update for the iPhone that is now available to all users.
This update brings several improvements, including improved AirDrop, more control options for StandBy, new features in Apple Music , and even more customization for shuffle photos on the lock screen. It also includes a number of bug fixes for improved performance.
The update is now available for all recent iPhones (from 2018 onwards). You can get it from your device's settings by following the procedure: Settings > General > About > Software Update. A notable addition to iOS 17.1 is the improvement to AirDrop, which allows for continuous transfer of content over the internet even when you are out of AirDrop range.

Additionally, the new version brings several improvements to Apple Music. Users now have the option to add songs, albums, and playlists to their Favorites and view them in their library. Apple Music also features new color-changing cover art collections and song suggestions at the bottom of playlists. These updates are also available for Apple Music on Mac with macOS Sonoma 14.1, which was released today.
With iOS 17.1, Apple adds Home key support for Matter lock, fixes an Apple Watch that caused the “Important Location” privacy setting to reset, and resolves keyboard responsiveness issues. Today, Apple released iOS 17.1 along with watchOS 10.1, which brings Double Tap to the latest Apple Watch series, as well as macOS Sonoma 14.1.
