Microsoft is investigating an ongoing issue that prevents some customers from using the search feature across multiple Microsoft 365 services.

The list of affected services includes, among others, Outlook on the Web, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook desktop clients.
"We are investigating an issue where users may be unable to use the search feature across multiple Microsoft 365 services," Microsoft wrote earlier today on Twitter.
"We are analyzing the issue to determine the source of the impact and develop a mitigation plan," the company added in an incident report in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
The company has not yet revealed whether this is a global problem or if it only affects customers from a limited number of regions.
Another outage took down many Microsoft 365 services last week, preventing customers around the world from signing in to their accounts and seeing web apps crash .
In some cases, banners at the top of the screen asked “new” users to contact their IT department for help troubleshooting the problem.
It was later discovered that the outage last week was caused by the caching performing operations below acceptable performance limits, which led to timeout exceptions within the Azure Active Directory (AAD) infrastructure.
Microsoft 365 was hit by another massive outage in January after a router IP address update caused problems with packet forwarding on Microsoft.
For those who are not familiar with Microsoft 365, it offers a comprehensive selection of applications in a system managed by Microsoft itself. Essentially, Microsoft will host the applications in its cloud and offer the ability to access them from any device (laptop, tablet, mobile, etc.) with internet access.
