
Tesla has released its report 2023 production and delivery , setting another record. However, while the results were impressive, they fell slightly short of Wall Street expectations. Tesla reported that in the first quarter of 2023, 422,875 electric vehicles (EVs) were delivered, while 440,808 were produced in the same period . Another record for Elon Musk 's company .

As the weekend approached, independent analyst Troy Teslike predicted that deliveries would reach 427,000 vehicles during the first quarter. According to the company's official report, about 423,000 were delivered, but the final tally shows a 36% increase over the 310,048 deliveries it reported during this period last year. In addition, the company saw a 4% increase over the (405,278) deliveries in the last quarter of 2022.

The Model 3 and Model Y were a big hit, as expected. Around 412,180 Model 3 and Model Y electric vehicles were sold before the end of March – a testament to their immense popularity among customers! On the other hand, the more expensive Tesla Model S and Model X saw more modest deliveries (10,695) during the same period. It is worth noting that in this case, there was a decrease compared to the deliveries (17,147) of the previous quarter.

It will be interesting to see how Tesla's latest deliveries will affect Elon Musk. In the first three months of 2023, Tesla aggressively reduced prices across most of its lineup.
