Tesla is now expanding its innovative sales approach, which uses virtual sales consultants and remote test drive locations, to Europe.

During the summer of 2021, it was revealed that Tesla had embarked on a new sales strategy. Recently, it was reported that the automaker had shifted from high-rent locations, such as shopping malls and commercial districts, to remote delivery centers and test drives.
Understanding that test drives are essential to attracting more customers, Tesla recently changed its strategy and now focuses on both online sales and physical presence.
When ordering a Tesla vehicle online in North America, customers received a personal “Tesla consultant” at their local store to guide them through the process until delivery.
Instead of physical dealer locations, Tesla opted for virtual sales consultants to handle orders and allowed potential buyers to take a test drive in the parking lot for a low price.
The company is implementing this new strategy across North America. Tesla is now taking its strategy globally with its first Remote Test Drive Hub located in Sweden, Europe.

This way, Tesla is able to efficiently manage these locations with a small team. Their staff's main responsibility is simply to ensure that the vehicles remain clean and charged at all times.
When we first began reporting on the new strategy in 2021, sources revealed that Tesla was already experiencing success with its initial locations across the United States.
Apparently the car industry was satisfied with this strategy, since it has now chosen to expand it to European markets. We can conclude that their satisfaction indicates that they intend to continue its development elsewhere.
