Earlier this month, Google revealed some of the changes in the Play System update that will be released in November 2022, and now it has updated the changelog to highlight some additional changes in the latest update.

The Google Play System is a set of components that work together to enable better app experiences. It replaces and builds on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) components traditionally used in Android. The goal is to provide a familiar development experience and improve app performance, while giving developers more control over their app experience.
According to the updated changelog on the Google System Updates support page, the latest update will bring fixes for services related to Account Management and System and Diagnostics Management, new formats for search results in the Play Store, a new update prompt to help users resolve app crashes, some changes to Google Wallet, and more.

Mishaal Rahman recently spotted something interesting on the Google Play System Updates support page. Version 33.2 of the Play Store will include a new, easy-to-use feature for users. The latest update for apps that are crashing will be installed automatically, resolving the issue. The latest update to the Google Play Store will now display a prompt that says: “The app might have stopped working because it needs an update. Please install the update first, then open the app again. If you’d rather update later, go to %1$s in Google Play.”
The Play Store will also get new search result formats, updates to game group views on Play for Chromebooks, an update to the Kids menu format on large-screen devices, and users who don't have regular access to Wi-Fi will be able to allow automatic updates over limited cellular data connections.

Google Wallet is getting a few features with the latest Google Play System update. These include improvements to SMART health card support, the ability to selectively exclude rewards cards imported from Gmail , and more. The full changelog for these new features can be found here.
