A new firmware update for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, and Nintendo Switch OLED — codenamed update 15.0.1 — is live, along with patch notes that reveal what Nintendo has done to the hybrid handheld console with the update. The update doesn't include many new features or fixes, but it does "fix" two issues that were present in previous versions of the software.

The first fix eliminated the “2181-1000” error code that players received when playing DLC on a console that wasn’t their primary console. The second version resolved an issue where screenshots wouldn’t work during certain in-game scenes for some games . Nintendo didn’t announce what caused both of these issues , but they’ve been fixed .
