If the tech billionaire fails to close the $44 billion acquisition by 9pm UK time on Friday, he will face trial in November.
He has spoken in the past about making the deal happen, as well as the ideas he may have about how Twitter will change for the better once he has control.
The latest hint at what he plans to do with Twitter includes a built-in video feature that would rival YouTube and generate additional revenue for the app. In response to a Twitter thread that questioned the feasibility of his idea, Mr. Musk posted a winking emoji.
The thread stated: “Once @elonmusk takes over, I wonder if the @TwitterSpaces platform can evolve towards video and compete with @YouTube for content creation…
“It’s crazy that Twitter hasn’t implemented a YouTube clone yet. Half of my tweets are links to YouTube videos. Twitter gets no value from them. If users could watch monetized videos on Twitter, Twitter would get a lot of ad revenue and massively increase its revenue .”

It has not yet been confirmed whether Mr Musk will go ahead with the acquisition, as he has previously said he is skeptical about the number of bots on Twitter.
