Warcraft mobile has been rumored as a possibility since 2018. The initial suggestion was that it would be a Pokémon Go- with reasons to go outside and join in battles. Blizzard has since confirmed that it's working on multiple mobile games, so it's unclear if the Pokémon Go-style game was anything different than what you'll see in the upcoming reveal stream.
The announcement tweet comes from the Hearthstone account and continues to be a bit vague. The title for it – which is really just a description – is all you need to know, and that doesn't say much. Warcraft could mean a lot of things, from the classic RTS series, to World of Warcraft, to Hearthstone.
The announcement is scheduled for Monday, May 3rd at 10 a.m. PT. You can watch the announcement live on discover.blizzard.com
