There are many different robot vacuum cleaner models to choose from these days, but CES 2022 saw the introduction of the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which has features we didn't even know we wanted in a vacuum cleaner.

The base system is definitely the first thing that catches your eye, as it is much more advanced than most others on the market. Because it is both a mop and a vacuum, the base will clean the mop, so it is ready for every use. It also has a bag that can hold up to seven weeks of dust.
“Contrary to popular belief, robot vacuums still require a lot of input from customers, both in terms of maintenance and operation,” said Richard Chang, founder and CEO of Roborock. “We are trying to change this by providing our customers with an even more user-friendly solution, one that requires minimal interaction with the device.”

The company is also touting a new obstacle avoidance system called ReactiveAI 2.0, which it says is better at avoiding obstacles than previous versions. Not only that, but it can also recognize the floor materials in a room. It will then recommend optimal cleaning methods, such as suction power and scrubbing intensity, based on the type of floor.
As for battery life, the S7 MaxV Ultra can run for about three hours on a single charge, which is impressive.

Finally, the S7 MaxV Ultra features Roborock's VibraRise technology. This is a combination of sonic mopping with automatic lifting that is designed to smoothly transition to contrasting surfaces as it cleans.
Overall, it seems like Roborock has it all figured out. Between its feature-packed base, obstacle avoidance capabilities, and smart mopping function, the S7 MaxV Ultra is definitely ready to take on iRobot and Roomba offerings.
