Join from Chat or Channel

You can join a meeting (even if it's already started) from the Teams “ Chat” section. If the meeting is taking place in a Channel , you have the option to join from there as well.

If the meeting is in a Channel, simply select “Teams”, visit the channel and you will see the same option. Click “Join”.

Another way to join a meeting in Microsoft Teams is from the “Calendar” section in Teams.

Click on “Calendar” on the left side. You will see the meeting on the correct date and time in the calendar. Select the meeting and click on “Join”.

In many cases, the person who organizes the meeting sends a link to the people who will attend. Through this link, you can easily join the online meeting at the appropriate time.

Click the link and the Microsoft Teams app will open on your device. If you have not installed the app, you will be directed to the web where you can join the meeting (only Edge and Chrome) or download the app.
