To see your username and display name on Snapchat, you need to tap on your profile icon, which you can see in the top left corner of your phone's screen. Your Snapchat username appears below your avatar, below your display name.
How to Change Your Display Name on Snapchat
As we mentioned earlier, while it's not possible to change your Snapchat username, you can change your display name. You can customize it to look however you want, and you can change it as many times as you want. You can change it through Snapchat's settings, but there's also a quicker way:
- Go to your Snapchat profile page by clicking on your profile icon in the avatar icon.
- Tap your display name. This will bring up a pop-up window with your current display name.
- Tap words to delete them, or type them the way you want your display name to appear.
- Click “Save” when you are satisfied with the changes.
You can make this change as many times as you want. Snapchatters will still be able to see the display name you had when they added you, but new friends will see your updated display name.
