How to send text messages from Chromebook

Chrome OS offers many ways to keep your Chromebook and Android phone synchronized. One of its features allows you to access the inbox with your phone's SMS and reply from your Chromebook. See how you can make the necessary settings.

Before you can enable text messaging, you'll need to pair your Android smartphone with your Chromebook. To do this, you'll need to be running Android 5.1 or later on your handset and at least Chrome OS 71 on your computer. Also, make sure both devices are signed in to the same Google account.
