Google wants to make it easier for people who speak different languages to communicate , which is evident in the new feature of the Google Translate app for Android . The Google Translate app is preparing to introduce a new feature that will allow translations to be made in real time. This is the Conversation Mode feature

Until now, the Google Translate app allowed users to translate from one language to another using a device. However, this process was time-consuming and did not make communication particularly easy. Now, however, users will be able to select more than one language, and with the help of the microphone , the app will translate the entire conversation, automatically which language the speaker is speaking each time. At the moment, this feature is in its early stages.
An initial assessment from Google suggests that this feature may require a constant internet connection at first. This is because direct translation into multiple languages is more complex than simply translating written text from one language to another, or than inputting a single spoken phrase and having it translated into text in a different language.
Additionally, Google notes that the feature will not work, at least initially, with audio files. Instead, the translation will be done directly from “live” audio captured through a smartphone microphone.
Google also says that the transcription feature is constantly evaluating entire sentences as the audio is being played, adding punctuation and correcting some choices . The company expects the underlying AI to continually improve over time. Finally, there’s no specific timeline for when Google plans to launch real-time transcription for Google Translate. The company simply says that the feature is in its future plans.
