This morning we reported that some Firefox users started noticing that their installed browser extensions were suddenly disabled.
Extensions display messages in the add-ons tab such as “could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled”.

Accordingly, Firefox displays the message “One or more installed add-ons cannot be verified and have been disabled” at the top.
As we mentioned, the problem is due to Mozilla's expired certificates. You can verify this by turning back your computer's clock, and you will see that everything is working fine.
But because this is not a solution, and because it can cause other problems, we have better news for you.
The Mozilla Foundation has announced a temporary fix. According to the company, the hotfix will address the add-on signing issue.
We rolled out a hotfix that re-enables affected add-ons. The fix will be automatically applied in the background within the next few hours.
It should be noted that you don't need to do anything on your part. You just have to wait until the hotfix is applied by the Mozilla Foundation and the information reaches your computer.
