It just happened. No big announcement. Just look at Samsung's Facebook page and you'll see a new logo that hints at innovations..
The company's Facebook page states "Samsung Mobile user updated their profile picture."
When do Facebook users do this? When something important happens in their lives, a new dog, a baby, or maybe a new haircut. The same thing happened on the company's Twitter.
Suddenly, Samsung's new logo became foldable.
We'll likely hear more at Samsung's Developers Conference in San Francisco on Wednesday, where the Korean company will finally unveil its foldable phone.
Samsung has been teasing it for a long time. In September, Samsung Mobile CEO DJ Koh said it was "time to launch.".
Last month, Koh insisted that it would be released. After the logo change, we want to believe that the device will finally be released, even though the company has been dreaming about it and talking about it since 2013.
The truth is that Samsung needs a device that will shake up the market. The company has long been following a mainstream model that has Apple devices as its model.
As for the innovation thing? You just can't get everyone excited, can you?
