Offensive Security today announced the release of the fourth rolling release of 2018 for its penetration testing operating system, Kali Linux.
Kali Linux 2018.04 brings the latest and greatest penetration testing tools, as well as a new base synchronized with the software repositories of the Debian GNU/Linux testing operating system .
The Kali Linux 2018.04 distribution provides, in addition to the latest tool and operating system packages, completely new security features.
The new version, Kali Linux 2018.4, comes with Kernel 4.18.10.
The new Kali Linux 2018.4 brings updated packages for the following applications: Burp Suite, Patator, Gobuster, Binwalk, Faraday, Fern-Wifi-Cracker, RSMangler, theHarvester, wpscan, and more. More information about the updates, fixes, and additions, on the official Kali Bug Tracker Changelog.
