Google Chrome is full of features that make users' lives easier. One such feature is URL suggestion, which is used to save time when typing.
This feature is actually very helpful, as it can automatically complete a URL that you have just started typing. That is, it can suggest corresponding URLs for you from the first 2-3 letters. However, this process can be a problem for you.
There's always the chance that it might still suggest a URL that you no longer use, that you visited by accident, or that you just decided you didn't like. Of course, it's possible that this autocomplete could also be giving away the sites you visit. So if you're worried about your Chrome privacy or any of the above possibilities, you can now avoid it.
Manually delete suggested URLs.
It is definitely the simplest way to delete suggested URLs. To do this, start typing the address, select it, and press Shift and Delete. It is simple, but it is not feasible to do this for more than 5-10 addresses. Also, it is temporary.
Of course, you can also manually clear history . Open the Settings menu and select More Tools > Clear Browsing Data or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl Shift Delete to open the same page. Then, select Browsing history. There you will decide which history period you want to delete and then select Clear Data.

Delete suggestedURLs with browser extension.
