One of Hollywood's most famous actresses, Jessica Alba, is trending on Twitter today because a racist hacker took control of account and posted some very racist tweets. Late Saturday and Sunday morning, a series of tweets were posted from Jessica Alba's Twitter profile, with her fans warning that her account had been hacked. The first tweet, which was clearly not posted by Alba, read: "Nazi Germany did nothing wrong."
As her 9 million followers know, the 38-year-old businesswoman usually talks about her brand, The Honest Company, or her upcoming projects. Her profile is filled with a few updates about her husband Cash Warren, their three children, Haven, Honor and Hayes, as well as a few tweets celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and other milestones. The tweets, which present racist and bigoted views, clearly did not come from the mother of three.
Alba's fans quickly flooded timelines with tweets warning her about the hacker, saying the hacker went too far. Her followers are disappointed that someone would post such horrible things, and that they would do it to Alba, who is "minding her own business."
As one Twitter user points out: “Of all the people to hack they chose Jessica Alba?” all she wanted was to make some bad movies and sell safe and clean beauty products to wake up housewives… This is like kicking a defenseless puppy. “sweet Jessica Alba is just trying to sell biodegradable diapers and vitamins but she’s getting hacked!!” commented another.
Many others pointed out that choosing someone as clean as Jessica Alba defeated the purpose because everyone immediately understood. On the contrary, if they had chosen someone more controversial, such as the President of the United States, Donald Trump, no one would have known the difference – at least for a while – and the hacker could have caught everyone’s attention. “You literally have the power to hack anyone … Donald Trump would have been more entertaining and we would have actually believed he posted the tweets himself but you chose JESSICA ALBA 😂😂,” said one tweet from someone who was not happy with the hacker.
