Google has released its AI-powered grammar check tool for Google Docs and other G suite apps.
Google has started rolling out its AI-powered grammar check tool inside Google Docs and other G Suite apps. The feature was initially limited to a few customers, but is now available to everyone, whether they're Basic, Business, or Enterprise subscribers.
With the new feature, G Suite users will start seeing “written suggestions related to the content they type,” something we already see in Google’s spell checker. Users will see a blue line under the grammatically incorrect sentence.

Google has worked with linguists to develop machine learning-based translation rules. While spell checking is a simple matter of marking the misspelled word and allowing the user to look it up in a dictionary, when it comes to grammar checking, things get more complicated.
Google says that words that look similar to each other or the correct way to use prepositions or the correct verb tense are examples of errors that grammar suggestions can help the user identify.
This feature makes Grammarly in Docs and other G Suite services. The AI-powered grammar check tool is currently only available to paying G Suite customers. For information, G Suite Basic, G Suite Business, and G Suite Enterprise cost $5, $10, and $25 per month, respectively.
