Microsoft is having trouble keeping its services running smoothly. After Office 365 went down twice last week, the company is now dealing with another outage affecting Xbox One and Xbox Live.

A number of Xbox One users have reported black screens when turning on the gaming console, and Microsoft confirmed in a tweet that it is aware of some devices that are no longer booting to the main screen.
“We are aware of reports of console startup issues, title update errors, and connection errors. We will update you when we have more information to share. Thank you all for your patience,” the company said on social media.
"In addition, if you are experiencing issues while visiting our service status page, we want to let you know that our technical team is actively investigating this issue as well. Thank you for your patience, we will update here when we have more to report," he added later, confirming an issue on Xbox Live as well.
A few hours ago, Microsoft announced on Twitter that these issues had been resolved, only to return a short while later to confirm another bug affecting downloads on Xbox One.
“The issues with console startup, login, title update errors, and the status page have been resolved. We appreciate your patience as our teams address these issues and appreciate your reports,” the tech giant said. “Are you experiencing issues downloading and installing content on Xbox One? We’re seeing your reports and working to resolve them. We’ll keep you posted.”
No timeframe was given, but when further announcements are made, they will be posted on our service status page. All other services are operating normally and we are no longer seeing reports of black screens on Xbox One consoles as this issue has been resolved.
