“Windows 10 has successfully completed the upgrade to Windows 10 October 2018 Update Version 1809. All your personal files have been deleted.”
The installation screen of the new Windows 10 could indicate this. Microsoft's new update, for unknown reasons, currently deletes personal data from the Documents folder or in Greek Documents.
So the company decided to withdraw the update, with Dona Sarkar stating that in case of deletion, call support, and bring your computer to a “good state.”

How professional is the above response really and why does Ms. Sarkar use the tag #WindowsInsiders, since the update was officially released for everyone?
It should be noted that the update did not cause any problems for everyone. But what would you say if a file you've been collecting for years disappeared from your computer?
“I have just updated my windows using the October update (10, version 1809). It deleted all my files of 23 years in amount of 220GB. This is unbelievable,” says Robert Ziko, a Windows 10 user on Microsoft’s support forums.
I imagine that those who have experienced such damage will not be covered by Ms. Sarkar’s answer, because they simply want their files and not their computer in a good state.
In any case, Microsoft needs to seriously address the issue, and when I say issue, I don't mean an update that fixes the above problem. The issue seems to be in how the development and testing structure is set up.
In a previous post, we mentioned that although the deletion of files had been reported to Microsoft, the company seemed to have overlooked it, ignoring the importance of the issue.
The company's testing seems to be lagging behind and not keeping up with the pace of development, or even if it is keeping up, not everything that is mentioned is given due importance.
Remember all the previous versions:
1507, 1511 (November Update), 1607 (Anniversary Update), 1703 (Creators Update), 1709 (Fall Creators Update), 1803 (April 2018 Update):

However, Windows 10 is present on almost 700 million active devices, while Ms. Sarkar takes a relaxed view of the issue.
