MessengerThe popular messaging app Messengerhas crashed again, according to a report by express.co.uk. Users in some parts of Europe and the UK have said they are having trouble sending and receiving messages via Messenger. This is the second time in the last 10 days that the hugely popular messaging app has been down.

The report said that some users have complained that they are unable to use the app since this morning. The app started going down at around 6 a.m. ET and the issue is reportedly still ongoing.

The report said that the issue appears to primarily affect Android and iOS platforms. However, it appears to work normally on computers.

"Earlier today some users may have experienced temporary issues sending and receiving messages on Messenger," Facebook spokesperson Dalya Browne told MailOnline.

Interestingly, the report said that express.co.uk is still able to connect via Facebook Messenger.

The latest outage comes just days after users of the app around the world experienced a technical glitch for almost a full day. The app is extremely popular and is second only to WhatsApp in terms of global users.
