Facebook: in fourth place among teenagers' preferences

Facebook is reportedly losing ground among U.S. teens ages 13-17. According to a report released today by Pew Research, social networks Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube are now more popular than Facebook, a social network with more than two billion monthly active users worldwide.
But let's take a closer look at the results of the Pew Research survey:Facebook
Among the teens who participated in the survey, 85% say they use YouTube, 72% Instagram, 69% go to Snapchat while only 51% say they use Facebook.

Only 10% of teens surveyed said they use Facebook more than any other social media app.
The numbers released today are completely different (much higher) than those published by Pew in the previous poll. In 2015, Facebook was still the most popular among teens, garnering 71% of users among those ages 13 to 17, a higher percentage than any other social network. Back then, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter were the most popular social apps among teens (the 2015).
Since then, however, the adoption rate of smartphone use by teenagers seems to have changed, since today 95% report that they have a smartphone, compared to 75% in 2015.
We left the quite worrying thing for last:
The time that users spend on digital media per day increased from 2.7 hours in 2008 to 5.9 hours in 2017.
