Bank of America app is leaving the Microsoft Store

The problem with Windows apps still exists no matter how hard Microsoft tries to fix it. While many developers have brought their apps to the Microsoft Store, even more are focusing on Android and iOS.

To be honest, the developers' shift to Android and iOS makes perfect sense given that they want to focus on a larger userbase that doesn't exist for Microsoft Store apps.

Bank of America is leaving Windows 10

In turn, Bank of America does not want to have its banking app available on a mobile banking client that has few users, resulting in it completely withdrawing from Windows 10.

Microsoft Store

This means that the official Bank of America app will no longer be available in the Microsoft Store. Users are advised to go to the bank's official website if they want to access their accounts. As we all know, this option is not user-friendly at all.

What's more worrying for Microsoft is that this change also affects Windows 10 PCs. Most of the developers who had pulled their apps from the Store did so because of the declining market share of Windows phones. Therefore, they have shifted their focus to Android and iOS to stay active in the mobile business.
