Nvidia the same computing power as a $10,000 system today, and will retail for AUD$1,299 (about $850). This chip isn't meant for your laptop, it's for use in robots.

"This small computer will be the brain of future robots"
“Robots that will drive, fly, swim, pick strawberries, lettuce, apples, help you in the lab,” Huang explained, “this little computer will be the brain of future smart machines.”, he added.
Jetson Xavier is equipped with six processors that can perform 30 trillion operations per second. It took five years to complete the final product, three years for the design, and two years for the architecture, and more than 8,000 people worked on the project.
“This is the largest processor design project we’ve ever done at our company,” he said. “It has about the same processing power as a $10,000 workstation equipped with multiple GPUs,” Huang added. “We would expect a system like that to consume 1,000 watts. Now we have all that power in the palm of our hand, and it consumes just 30 watts!”
This isn't Nvidia's first attempt at an AI chip. The existing technology is already being used by companies for autonomous warehouse robots, fruit-picking robots, and farming robots. Jetson Xavier, however, is 20 times more powerful than Nvidia's previous line of AI chips and is expected to be available for sale by August 2018, according to Huang.
