Sometimes you need a little extra security for your valuables when you travel. But you can’t just leave everything at the hotel – things like passports or any medication you might be taking sometimes need to be a little more portable. But unfortunately for us, our bags don’t come with a security lock.
The solution: a small portable safe. It’s small and lightweight enough to carry with you for easy access whenever you want, without sacrificing the security of your belongings. The iKeyp Pro-Safe is the ultimate example of the best of both worlds – the successful Indiegogo project is a smart safe for personal items that require easy access.
Just put whatever you need inside (it holds about eight medicine bottles) and you’re good to go. You can access it whenever you need it with your smartphone, the built-in keypad, or your backup key, and it’ll give you real-time reminders about what’s in your safe. And don’t worry about anyone else getting their hands on it—not only will you get an alert if it’s been broken into, but there’s a built-in siren to scare off would-be thieves.
It seems like the perfect solution for people who travel frequently and are worried about their belongings. You can pick up the iKeyp Pro-Safe at the Mashable Shop, 16% off the regular price (just in time for the Christmas holidays) for $124.99.
