Google has just released the latest version of Chrome 62 for Android devices. Google Chrome 62 was pushed out to the stable channel for Mac, Linux, and Windows devices last week, in a rather minor update that brings a more aggressive security warning when browsing websites that still use the HTTP protocol instead of HTTPS.
Chrome 62 also adds a new API for payment requests to Chrome for iOS, improves the Network Information API by implementing network quality indicators, and adds the ability to capture and process streaming media from HTMLMediaElements using the Media Capture from DOM elements API.
Now with Chrome 62 for Android devices, released via the Google Play Store, the app reportedly offers faster file downloads, the ability to view and copy saved Chrome passwords when your device is locked, as well as a quick view of data savings when the “Data Saver” option is enabled.
Chrome 62 (62.0.3202.66) for Android has already been released, and if you don't see it you will see it on Google Play over the next few weeks.
It should be noted that at present the Play Store has not been updated with the new version….
