Google Photos can now recognize your beloved pet, and add to an album the photos that depict it.
You can also give each of your pets even names, and thus search for «Betty» or «Azor» instead of «cat» or «dog». Or you can also search using the emoji that depict a cat or a dog, or even by the breed of the pets.
According to a Google spokesperson, this recognition technology is in its early days. It is expected to be further developed so that if you have two pets of the same breed, it can tell them apart.
Recently Google introduced a feature that allows you to create a movie with your pet, in which you can now easily select the best photos from the new dedicated album for creating its movie.
These changes come along with a series of new AI updates for Google Photos.
