The developer of the Linux distribution 4MLinux Zbigniew Konojacki, announced today the immediate availability for download of Antivirus Live CD 23.0-0.99.2.
As its version number suggests, the free Antivirus Live CD 23.0-0.99.2 is based on the open source Clam AntiVirus (ClamAV), a cross-platform antivirus capable of detecting viruses, trojans, malware, and other malicious threats for Linux, Windows, and Mac operating systems, as well as the 4MLinux 23.0 distribution.
4MLinux 23.0 is not yet available to the public, as it is scheduled for release in November 2017. Antiνirus Live CD is designed for users who need a lightweight live CD that will help them protect their computers from viruses. The latest version 23.0-0.99.2 is based on 4MLinux 23.0 and ClamAV 0.99.2.
If you are looking for a standalone antivirus solution, completely free, that works without installing any application on your infected computer, then Antivirus Live CD is your solution. You can download the iso image and you can either burn it to a USB flash drive (recommended) or to a CD disc, which you will use to run Antivirus Live CD directly, without installing anything. More details about using Antivirus Live CD can be found on the program's official website.
