Leaked photos of Nokia 9 reveal dual-camera setup!

We already know that Nokia is working on a flagship phone that will run Android, and now a French website is giving us an early look at what could be Samsung's Galaxy S8 competitor.

Frandroid managed to find some information that they believe represents the Nokia 9 prototype, and some of the photos they were allowed to take finally reveal some features of the device.

First of all, it looks like the Nokia 9 will come with a 5.3-inch display, although its exact dimensions will be 5.27 inches, according to a CPU-Z screenshot posted by the source. The display will have a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels and will feature 557 dpi, with the source saying it will feature a maximum brightness of 530 nits. An Always-On display option, similar to the one available on the Samsung Galaxy S8, will also be offered to view the clock and recently received notifications.

The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 clocked at 2.46 GHz and paired with 4GB of RAM. Nokia will offer 64GB of storage, but there's a good chance there will be other versions available with more storage. It's also possible that a microSD card slot will be offered.

In terms of cameras, the Nokia 9 could be aimed squarely at the iPhone 7 Plus, despite the smaller screen, as it will feature a dual-lens setup. The report claims that Nokia will use two 13-megapixel cameras, along with a dual- LED for better night-time shots. There is no mention of a telephoto lens at this time.

The Nokia 9 will still feature a headphone jack and support charging and data transfer via USB Type-C. The phone will come with a front-facing home button and there's a good chance it will also include a fingerprint sensor.

In terms of software, the Nokia 9 will run Android 7.1.1 and a launcher similar to the one Google uses on the Pixel is very likely.

Keep in mind, however, that this is a prototype and some features could change before launch. As for pricing, the phone will cost around $700.
