Galaxy S8+ faces stock shortage issue

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ have been quite popular lately , with the company recently announcing that pre-orders have surpassed one million units. Unfortunately, this has resulted in one variant facing supply issues. Galaxy S8+ Galaxy S8+ Galaxy S8+ Galaxy S8+

The number of newly activated pre-ordered Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ units has slowed down its growth rate. Specifically, 260,000 Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones were activated on Tuesday, while only 63,400 units were activated on Wednesday. Therefore, this is a decrease of 1/3 between the two days.

The issue is affecting the popular Galaxy S8+ with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Samsung has announced that the sought-after variant could be delayed from reaching some customers as internal supply issues were apparently not resolved in time.

The good news is that customers won't have to wait long for the new smartphones as stocks for the Galaxy S8+ with 6GB will be replenished next week.

It should be noted that the remaining two variants do not record any shortage of stock, which means that the smartphones will be shipped to consumers on the expected date without any delay.

Samsung sets a new record in pre-orders with the Galaxy S8, managing to record a sales rate five times higher than that of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge in South Korea.

Finally, let us note that some customers who received the new Samsung Galaxy S8 noticed an annoying red line on the screen, which of course is claimed to be fixable manually by adjusting the screen optimization settings.
