It seems like Google , fans Android love the mobile platform even more. information was leaked about two new smartphones being developed by Google, known as “muskie” and “walleye,” and today it was revealed that a third device is coming.
While “muskie” and “walleye” are likely to be a continuation of the Pixel and Pixel XL, the new device which has an equally strange code name, “taimen”, will be a completely different smartphone.
Rumors suggest that “taimen” started being manufactured by the company during the same period that the Pixel and Pixel XL were released, but it has not come to the forefront until now as the information was not confirmed.
Now, since the new smartphone has been confirmed through multiple sources, we can share some details that have leaked.
The most important information related to the “taimen” is the fact that it comes with a larger screen than the “muskie” and “walleye”. Since these two devices are a continuation of the Pixel and Pixel XL, we can safely say that their screens will be the same size. Essentially, the “taimen” will probably have a larger screen than the 5.5-inch Pixel XL. However, the new third device that Google is currently preparing will be a smartphone or phablet and not a tablet.
It is not yet certain whether Google intends to present all three new smartphones simultaneously, but at least two of them, the “muskie” and the “walleye” will make their debut in the fall of the current year.
More information regarding Google's plans for Android devices will be revealed during the company's press conference in May.
