As the third release of the Bose Companion 2 series, the Series III has better sound output than its predecessors. Although these speakers do not have an external subwoofer and do not accept the addition of one, they are definitely a better choice than the speakers you already use. Why?
The Bose Companion 2 Series III are designed to enhance low-end performance that provides more detailed sound.
The speakers have a simple design with large ports on the front. The right speaker houses all the system controls along with the input ports. On its front we find the volume control system as well as the headphone jack. On the back there are two 3.5mm analog inputs: one is used to connect to a desktop computer while the second functions as an auxiliary port for connecting to a portable media player or smartphone.
The Bose Companion 2 Series III promises a wide sound field thanks to the stereo digital processing circuit. Note that because the speakers have an analog input, it is difficult to achieve a purely good digital signal when converting from analog to digital. The system doesn't have a remote control like most of its kind for remote volume control. However, it does come with a power adapter that you can use with your speakers in case they don't respond due to the United States standard setting.
