Facebook is trying to innovate once again with a new feature that will surely drive you crazy. The social networking platform will allow desktop users to turn some of their posts into pop-ups.
The pop-ups will appear at the bottom of the screen, around the area where direct messages appear. The box will have a text field where you can comment as well as choose to view in full screen or hide the post.
"We've heard that people want an easier way to participate in conversations while still in News Feed. So we decided to test a new option that when someone comments on your post, you can reply or comment via message. You can of course hide the conversation or turn off notifications via the drop-down menu.
This new feature allows you to use Facebook in a single tab instead of three or four depending on the number of publications you are working on at the time.
Although Facebook considers this new feature a small test, on a platform used by 1.9 billion people every day, the word “small” is not the most appropriate term. It remains to be seen whether the feature will become a permanent feature of Facebook.
