Of all the smartphones set to make an appearance at the biggest tech event of the year, the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus are two of the most poorly kept releases. The G5 Plus recently appeared on a retailer's product page , while about a month ago, someone tried to sell a G5 Plus as a prototype.
All the information leaks from time to time have left nothing to the imagination of the consumer. We essentially have a complete picture of the mobile before it is even released, which happens quite rarely.
The latest information comes from the Brazilian Moto G4 community, which has published an image of the Moto G5 Plus, revealing even more specifications. Interestingly, the source claims that the smartphone has been tested on network management, but without revealing any further information.
The Moto G5 Plus shown in the photo has a 5.2-inch full HD display, information that refutes the previous assumptions about a 5.5-inch display. What is certain is that the Plus will have a display larger than the original model by 5 inches, it just remains to be seen what its exact dimensions will be.
Additionally, the Moto G5 Plus will be powered by an octa-core 2GHz processor, likely the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, will feature a fingerprint scanner, FM radio, and digital TV. It should be noted that the phone will have a nanoSIM slot.
We also find a 12MP rear camera with Rapid Focus, PDAF, 4K video recording with f/1.7 aperture. The front camera will be 5MP with f/2.2 aperture. It is noteworthy that the main camera of the G5 Plus is similar to the Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom.
